Martha Lane Fox Joins Our November e-Democracy 'Question Time'

Events news published: Thursday 1st March 2007

Headstar's annual conference e-Democracy '07 is set to end on a high note following confirmation of participation by internet entrepreneur Martha Lane Fox.

We are delighted that Lane Fox, co-founder of successful online travel agency and retailer lastminute.com, will participate in 'Question Time', the final plenary session where a panel of experts take questions from the audience.

She will be joining Theresa May MP, noted e-democracy expert Professor Stephen Coleman and Ross Ferguson, who heads the e-democracy programme at the Hansard Society. The e-Democracy event this year is on 8 November, at the New Connaught Rooms in central London.

'Question Time' will be chaired by Richard Allan, Cisco's head of public sector business in the UK and Ireland. Richard was formerly MP for Sheffield Hallam, and a spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats on IT issues.
