Building Perfect Council Websites 13
11th Jul 2013
Location: National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham
Time: 10:00 - 17:00
With the continuation of tough economic times for the public sector, it is vital to ensure that your council's website works well as an efficient and effective provider of information and services to local citizens.
Building Perfect Council Websites '13, our eighth annual event, is a partnership between Headstar and Socitm. The UK's largest event in this field, it brings together more than 300 participants, including local authority webmasters and web teams from all parts of the UK. We also welcome private sector partners; other public sector web teams; communications specialists; anyone else with an interest in the development of efficient, citizen-centred public services online.
The event focuses on both current best practice and predicts future trends, from mobile services to social media. Overall, our programme covers all aspects of creating a successful site, from high-level strategic issues such as ensuring a focus on the citizen to detailed hands-on advice such as accessibility.
